JANUARY 29, 2017 BY Charlotte Hutchins
Thought it might be time for an update. Danny and I have been working hard this month from drawing plans, to tearing down walls, leveling dirt, shoveling gravel, putting in plumbing and drains, to pouring concrete, and then start putting up new walls, and this is just only half of the barn! Danny decided it would be easier to do half at a time which I am glad. (Don’t think I would have been much help if he poured all the concrete in one day!) We have been lucky so far with the weather. The only bad part is the WIND! I promise you the wind here is ridiculously crazy! It can be calm one minute and the next it is carrying you off! If there is one thing that Danny Hutchins does not like it is the wind! We are keeping our fingers crossed that February will bring us some good working days too! We are hoping for great success with Country Bark Boarding. We have had wonderful feedback from friends and family and we hope to earn your trust with allowing us to keep your beloved pet. Whether it be for one night, a week, or more. We will love them and treat them like our own, and believe me ours are spoiled!! We know there is nothing like having a dog that loves you more than he/she loves himself. I went to see the movie A Dog’s Purpose yesterday. Yes I know there have been lot’s of controversy over this movie, but let me tell you it is a good movie. Of course I cried and laughed, but I realized that a dog’s purpose is to play with you, and to love you, and to be in the now. And I will treasure each every day that I have with my dogs, just like I will your dogs when they come to stay at Country Bark Boarding. Thanks again for taking the time to read our post, and please continue to pray for us as we continue working on Country Bark Boarding. Have a great day and I hope February brings lots of love and happiness to each of you!!! Charlotte and Danny

Jan 01, 2017 6:18am Check out my first blog post!! We have some exciting news to share!! JANUARY 1, 2017 The first day of a New Year! It’s time to reflect on the past year and to look forward to the New Year! It is like the first page of a new book and you can start that paragraph anyway you want to! It is all up to you! And this year I have decided that my book is going to be a non-fictional book! Have you ever had a time in your life that you wanted to do something different with your life, but you were not sure what you wanted to do? Some may call this a mid-life crisis 🙂 or maybe they are just looking for something to make a difference in their life to have a purpose. Well that was me. Don’t get me wrong, I have an amazing life with a wonderful family and all that I could ever ask for but I was struggling, something was missing. Then one Sunday back in the fall I was sitting in Church with my mom and the sermon that day was “How Big Is Your Kingdom Dream?” I thought okay this is a sign. God was telling me it is time for me to make a dream I have in to reality. I mean let’s face it we are not getting any younger, and if I really want to do this why put it off any longer? I have an amazing husband who has always supported me and who can do anything, we have the land and the barn so with a little sweat, determination, and a lot of prayer ( oh and my love for animals) we can make this dream come true. With all that being said I hope you will follow us on our journey as we begin the building process of making a dream into reality and as our new business of COUNTRY BARK BOARDING you will want to bring your 4 legged friends to stay with us while you are away on vacations, business trips, or just need a break! We will love your pups just like our own! We will offer a clean, safe, and of course fun environment so you won’t have to worry about them while you are away! I thank you for taking the time to read my post. Please continue to pray for us as we begin this journey! We are so excited and looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!! Stay tuned! Hope you all have a wonderful day and the best of best New Year!! Charlotte P.S. If you need us we will be in the barn! You can follow our journey at www.countrybarkboarding.com |
