Welcome to Spring

This morning as I was cleaning in the kennel just trying to get things all ready for our busy Spring Break next week got me thinking  (Danny says that can sometimes be dangerous lol), but I was remembering how it had been 5 years ago this week that we were getting ready for a busy Spring Break, a full house of guests, and then “BAM” the phone started ringing and everyone was cancelling their trips due to the world shutting down. I began panicking, thinking what are we going to do everyone is cancelling their boarding reservations. Once again Danny said, not to worry. We had only been open about 3 years so still rarely new in the small business world, and you didn’t know what was going to happen down the road or really the next day for that matter. The best thing for me to do was to shut off the news and just take it a day at a time! Fast forward 5 years and we are still here! It is good sometimes to look back and see how far you have come and what you have been through to really appreciate what you have, and I love our little kennel and all our guests!  (and I still try not to watch the news!)

Now a little update on our second adventure, Country Cove Cottage, 😊 it is coming along with no specific finish date, and we are in no hurry, but Danny is doing an amazing job, and his talent always amazes me. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, and view, this will be the place to be!!
